Total Air Particulate Testing

Did you know that over 90% of all homes have at least one Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) problem?  These problems lead to everything from allergies and asthma to discomfort and unsafe conditions. Fixing IAQ problems is difficult because you can’t see the problems.  And you can’t fix a problem before first identifying it.  That is why Re-Freshen recommends Total Air Particulate Testing.

The Total Particulate Analysis is a microscopic determination of particles collected from the air or surface, other than mold. Fiberglass and cellulose fibers from insulation, silicates, soot, dust mites, insect parts, pet dander, pollen, wood dust and other particulates may cause allergic reactions or respiratory, eye and skin irritation. Sometimes skin and respiratory irritation is not caused by mold. Other particulates such as dander, gypsum, talc, mineral salts and soot may cause excessive dust in the home referred to as nuisance dust.

The Total Particulate Analysis can assist in determining which of these particles may be present in the home or workplace in excessive amounts. From that information, it is easier to determine the possible causes of the excess dust accumulation so that corrective actions may be taken.

Indoor air pollution and its health implications are a rapidly growing concern for families in today’s society. It's a safe bet that you want your family to be safe from the air pollution problems found in the outside environment, yet you may be unaware that indoor air pollution can have a major effect on your family’s health, comfort, and safety as well.
